This brief concerned health with the question ‘Educate young and prevent skin cancer in later life’. My response was the creation of a variety of engaging card games and accessories that would inspire and educate children from the ages of 5-7 about the value of sun protection and sun safety in a simple, friendly and fun way. I invented a host of novel comic characters that I felt could connect with children, make the education memorable and encourage them to talk with their friends about this subject.
